Hi, I'm Jess Cheatwood. I am an Oklahoma Birth Worker who is a trained birth & postpartum doula, a HypnoBirthing Certified Educator (HBCE), an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and training to be a midwifery assistant at The OKC Birth Center under Brandy Harris of Willow Birth Services. I have been serving families through prenatal and postpartum care in the Oklahoma City metro area since 2009. BORN FOR BREASTFEEDING WORKSHOPS
|
In this workshop you will learn how to navigate the early days and weeks of breastfeeding. We will discuss how to know if your baby is getting enough milk, when and how to pump, and introducing a bottle. Learn how to holistically troubleshoot situations such as mastitis, low milk supply, and nipple discomfort. Many parents find themselves under-prepared for their infant feeding goals initially, but with the information you learn in this class you will know how and when to intervene early to keep your milk supply increasing and baby gaining weight. Even if you are considering combination feeding with formula, this workshop will help you to understand biologically normal and safe infant feeding practices.

An in person meeting is required to get to know each other, and a contract signed by both of us, before doula services can begin. A non-refundable fee of $600 is required to hold your estimated due date in my calendar. This fee is applied toward your total balance. Payments should be completed by the end of your 36th week of pregnancy unless another payment arrangement has been made in writing.

I know that sometimes we run out of dollars but still need to acquire things in life such as goods and services for ourselves or loved ones.
I welcome clients to extend offers for bartering for part of their payment with things such as but not limited to eggs, meat, produce, massage and beauty services, wood working, home repairs, tree trimming, mechanic services, or whatever else your family may have to barter with I am open to hearing about. I am also able to set your invoices to allow partial payments, this way you can pay some each time you get paid instead of all at once. Please feel free to ask for assistance if you need it. |
